II Cor.5:20

Eve leads a Tuesday Women’s group who are studying Translating God by Shawn Bolz. The goal is to increase in prophesy - sharing the heart of God specifically to people. Each week we do activations to practice the concepts we learn. She will be sharing from her book, Ransomed and leading activations at a woman’s conference the end of the month with the Ladies Firestarter Group that meets monthly. BtW Her Book can now be ordered through Amazon. Please be sure to sign up to support OLAM in the Amazon smiles program before you order from Amazon. If you want a quantity order to use for a bible study, contact us directly for a discount. She hopes to spend a lot of time on her second book, Uncommon Prayer while Ric is gone. It will be an encyclopedia of prayer principles that affect how God answers prayer and why it seems He sometimes doesn’t.
About the bookThis book may not match your beliefs. Honestly, some parts didn’t match mine either. If you keep an open mind, however, there is something in these pages that will help you find freedom. It was not meant to be a Bible study, but Scripture was a big part of the lessons I learned. Some of what you read may be controversial, so take only what fits you. It is simply, what I lived. God wants to share life with each of us, whether or not we believe in Him. He loves you like the Father you always wanted.
Ric continues his counseling at the Pregnancy Center and is pursuing the start of a Purity Support group for men who suffer with porn and sex addiction. His Wed am coffee/Men’s group is growing with others who will fill in when he has other obligations. They are discussing each person's identity in Christ and how to walk it out in everyday life.
He mentors and encourages several men, is working part time this summer and will be traveling in Central America for the month of September with our son. An amazing gift of time to be well spent that our son initiated. Please pray for them as they come to mind. Ric’s health is stable but there are some risks and concerns inherent a trip like that.

MISSIONARY NEWS
Ron & Phoebe just returned to OK after a month long visit. What a HUGE blessing to get to reconnect and share. Thank you both for helping with repairs, maintenance and service at Creekside. Please prayer for them as they seek God about their next assignment at the close of the school year and finalize the manufacture of a patent design that God downloaded. (More info to come.)

PRAYER AND PRAISE
  • Rob fell loading the last box of household items for a move to Maine. Major surgery to repair a broken wrist along with other minor injuries.
  • Addeline 9 year old daughter of a friend is suffering horribly. Doctors are unsure of diagnosis and treatments are almost as difficult as the symptoms. We believe this is an attack to shut down their parent’s powerful ministry, Hope4Generations.
  • Ron for healing from cancer.
  • Riley moved to MN with his wife. They had an event which led to her filing for divorce. Riley has rededicated his life and joined a rehab program called the Fortress. Their marriage is only one of six couples who have recently reached a crisis state. We are offering counsel and ministry to those who have asked.
  • Dr Dan has a brain aneurism and is suffering strokes.
  • Mike our brother in law went to heaven after battling cancer.

Creekside Gathering Place

Creekside Gathering Place, our local outreach, continues to expand. We have elected a local board to help maintain the vision and offer accountability. This last November the facility was donated to OLAM and received as an asset of the ministry. Praise God, our tax exemption was finally approved last month. It is not automatic with a 501c3 in Colorado. Also, a new volunteer has joined us who loves to play in the dirt and is transforming the exterior landscaping as an offering of love. She, along with a dozen others
formed a work party doing repairs, clean up and painting the deck.
  • Mondays/Thursdays, 6pm Supper Club Community shared meals.

Please pray with us as we seek God for opportunity to open a transition home which will be called, Samerit Inn. Our small town is in a housing crisis. The estimated 2% vacancy rate is mostly priced for the tourists who buy second homes here to beat the heat of AZ and TX.  God gave us a word to, “Go in your might” Judges 6:14. When inquiring as to what our might was, He made it plain that we are spiritual Pop and Mom as evidenced by the many people we adopt and call family. We are maxed out currently in our present home with a gal we are mentoring and ministering to in Riley’s old room and a man staying in the RV in the yard whom we share life with.
Our fellowship gathering on Thursday evenings is growing. People enjoy the opportunity for prayer and worship. It has opened doors to do prayer ministry, marriage counseling and enjoy amazing friendships. The food pantry recently received a gift card from Clearview Church to restock from the local Kroger. The shelves were depleted from a decrease in food donations. Thank you to those of you who have registered your Kroger cards recently at; Citymarketcommunityrewards.com.
The donation doubled this month.

Things to ponder:
Jdg 6:14  And Jehovah looked upon him and said, Go in your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?

Before this when the angel of the Lord spoke to Gideon He said Jehovah is with you mighty warrior. God had already spoken to him about who he was. He just needed to see what strength God had placed within Him. When God calls you to do something, He has already equipped you to do it.

What is your "might"? What talent, strength gifting do you possess? Go forth and take the land for Kingdom purpose using what God gave you?
