Since first getting to know Phoebe as a pupil in our new believer’s class, she has supported the vision of OLAM. After her marriage to Ron Brown in May of 2012, he also joined us as prayer warrior and supporter of the ministry. They officially joined the board as Kingdom ambassadors in February 2017. Although several people have offered them a permanent home, Ron and Phoebe continue to be homeless by choice, as the Lord leads them to “follow the cloud by day and the fire by night.” Along with practical helps, the couple prayer walk the towns and cities they visit.

Currently, the cloud rests in Edmond, OK where Ron is using his various trade skills, helping to construct a building for Arrows International, a Christian Dance Company that offers a Levitical training school to international students and dances and evangelizes worldwide. The new building will offer two dance studios, a commercial kitchen, and a meeting room for people to gather and receive training from around the globe. Phoebe’s skill set and heart to serve allow her to be an asset in whatever capacity is needed: intercession, teaching English as a second language, tutoring, editing, facilitating small groups, and just offering an extra pair of hands.

Together they come alongside people who have physical, emotional and/or spiritual needs; praying for physical wholeness; mentoring the unchurched; and practicing inner heart healing to the brokenhearted and deliverance to set the captives free. They want to be the Word that all can see, instead of just reading and studying it. As Saint Augustine said they, “Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words.”

We wore layers of coats through customs because they have started limiting what can be carried across the border. Coats donated by Colorado East Bank in Buena Vista, CO along with food and other donated items were given to congregation Iglesia Pasion, (Pastors Louis and Bernarda). The remainder of the items went to people who came out from their homes to listen while Patricio Schmelling, our Faith Mission contact shared the gospel.
