May 2, 2019 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him ? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 CORINTHIANS 2:14-16 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.2.14-16.NASB What does He mean natural man and what do they not accept? Why? What does He mean "spiritually appraised" and how do you do that? What does He mean " he who spiritually appraises all things? Who is appraised by no one? Who has known what? Who's mind? Who will instruct whom? Who has the mind of Christ? What does that mean? Do you see yourself as having the mind of Christ? If God said it then you have it. He loves you and has given you everything that pertains to life and godliness. He is " not a man that He should lie." You can trust Him. May 3, 2019 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? 1 CORINTHIANS 3:1-3 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.1-3.NASB Who is writing and who is he referring to as brethren? Ard we not still brethren? What does he mean "speaking to you as spiritual men"? How about "men of flesh", or "infants in Christ"? What does he mean milk, nor solid food? Why were they not yet able to receive it? What is needed to move from milk to solid food? What does he mean "you are still fleshly"? How does jealousy and strife make them fleshly? What does he mean "walking like mere men"? How about us, are we walking as mere men? Do you see yourself as a mere man or a spiritual man and what is the difference? Papa God has given us many gifts but we have to receive them as walk in them. To repent doesn't mean to just say I'm sorry but to change the way you think. That is an ongoing process or to put it another way to renew your mind. God loves us and is on our side, rooting for us. May 4 2019 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not mere men? What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:4-7 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.4-7.NASB Who is He talking about when He says one says and what are they saying? What do they mean when they claim to be of one person or another? Is there something in this time that is simular? Are these not man made divisions? What then are these divisions based on? What does He mean servants through whom you believed? Who gave opportunity and to whom? Who plants and who waters and does it matter? So who is not anything and whom is everything? Who causes growth? We are all children of the same God who loves us all and wants us to love one another. Why, because we represent Him! Let Papa show His love through you today! May 5 2019 Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:8-10 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.8-10.NASB Who is he who plants and he who waters? What does He mean are one? Who will receive who's reward and according to what? Who's fellow workers are we and who is we? What does He mean God's field, God's building? According to the grace of God, what does that mean and how do you get it? What does He mean like a wise master builder? He laid what and who builds on it? Who must be careful about what? Have you ever laid a foundation or built on someone else's foundation? Whos building are we building? Do you see yourself as God's and if so how does that affect how you see others. God loves us all and there is but one family of God. Ask God to let you see others as He sees them. We are all brothers and sisters. Let His love flow through you today! May 6 2019 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:11-13 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.11-13.NASB Who can lay another foundation? What is the foundation that had been laid? Who builds and with what? What happens to each work? What does He mean works? What day and what will it show? How is it to be revealed? What will test each man's works? What does it test about each work? What work can we rely on? Hint: Is. 26:12. EPH. 2:8-9, It is the work of His grace that saves us! Only His love which is evident in the gift of Jesus that brings us into relationship with the Father. Embrace His gift today! May 7, 2019 If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:14-15 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.14-15.NASB Who's work and who built on it? What does He mean work and what about that work? Who will receive what and why? If what is burned up, what happens to the man? What does He mean, "but he himself will be saved?" From what or whom and how? This will make you think. Who's work is eternal? Papa God has provided for His children through His love and grace. What are we to do about that? May 8, 2019 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:16-17 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.16-17.NASB Who is the you He is referring to? What does He mean temple of God? Who's Spirit dwells where? Who is "a man" and what is he capable of? What are the consequences of destroying the temple of God? Why? What does He mean holy? So who is holy? Do you see yourself as holy? God has made us holy, so let's not destroy what God has created! He loves us! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Let's embrace his creation today. Let Him love someone through you today! May 9, 2019 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, " He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness "; and again, " The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless ." 1 CORINTHIANS 3:18-20 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.18-20.NASB Let who deceive himself? No man, I think covers us all. Who is any that might think they are wise? What must he become and why? What wisdom is foolishness and before whom? What does He mean this world? What does He mean "it is written" and where? Who is the one who catches and whom does He catch and in what? What does the Lord know? What does He know about the reasonings of the wise and in who's eyes are they considered wise? We can trust Papa God and His wisdom because He loves us. Rest in His wisdom and love today! May 10, 2019 So then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:21-23 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.21-23.NASB What does the so then tell us? Let who boast in men? What belongs to whom? Whether who or what? What things belong to whom? Who belongs to Christ and who does Christ belong to? Thank you Papa God for your love and character? We can trust your motivations? Love someone through us today! May 11, 2019 Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy. But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself. For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord. 1 CORINTHIANS 4:1-4 Let who regard who? In what manner? Servants of whom and stewards of what? What does He mean servants and stewards? In what case? What does He mean moreover? What is required of whom? What does He mean a small thing? Who is examining whom? What does He mean a human court? Who does not even examine himself? Who is conscious of what? What does He mean yet I am not aquitted and by whom? Who is the examiner? How do you think Papa God sees you? Hint: Col. 1:22-24 Papa has already made arrangements for us. He does not force us but is waiting for our decision. Accept His gift and love today!
